About RFDataFactory

RFDataFactory is a collaborative platform from researchers at Northeastern University and Rice University, for wireless research and development. The platform serves for accessing datasets, APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) and tools, towards generating and pre-processing data and sharing the same with the community. It aims to advance research at the intersection of wireless and applied machine learning to cater to data-driven analysis and configuration of wireless networks. RFDataDactory is supported by the US National Science Foundation CISE Community Infrastructure (CCRI) Award #2120447.

Accelerate Interdisciplinary Research

RFDataFactory aims to automate dataset creation with a focus on the PAWR platforms and the Colosseum RF emulator platform and the Arena platform and further research efforts in machine learning for wireless by providing standardized datasets for evaluation and comparison of different AI models.

The datasets and tools are organized hierarchically, according to their subject and features, starting from root (general) to leaf (specific) attributes. The platform also hosts tutorials and learning resources on dataset collection, dataset pre-processing, and standards-compliant dataset formats.
